Below is our interview with Chantale Clavelle, Marketing Manager at KEZBER:
Q: Chantale, could you tell us something more about the company?
A: It all started in Alan Kerber’s basement in Magog in 1996. At the time it was mainly service contracts for outsourced IT support for manufacturers. Alan remembers working out of his car to support a whole floor of Domtar in Montréal, as well as a few 3 am security alarm calls that would require him to get up and drive to Montréal to solve the problem. Along the years, contracts got more substantial, and it became necessary to hire more and more technicians like Luciano Pellecciotta who’s still with Kezber today. As the company grew, the expertise extended with the needs of it’s clients. Eventually, custom application development and web related services became the main focus, although IT support is still very important as well. Kezber now counts 65 employees and is divided into three strategic locations : Magog, Drummondville and Brossard, and it’ moving forward.
Q: Kezber recently obtained the Microsoft Gold Application Development Competency; could you tell us something more?
A: We are very proud of this achievement! Obtaining the Gold Application Development competency required a lot of effort from our technical services and application development teams. This is an important step in Kezber’s growth because it demonstrates that Kezber has expertise in application development and meets the competency requirements. In addition to the credibility it confers, it provides access to many benefits and resources to help us improve our skills continually. Only a few companies have a level of expertise like ours, it’s certainly a great asset for SMEs in the Eastern Townships, Centre-du-Québec and Montreal regions.
Q: Can you give us more insights into your services?
A: Take the Cloud services for example, most companies involved in the Cloud revolution are not technology experts. Our job is to find the best solution for their specific needs, and also making sure the transition goes smoothly.
Same thing with software development, if no existing application is appropriate for a client’s need, our experts will develop a custom-tailored software that will increase their productivity. We take pride in our original and optimized solutions.
We also offer on-site consulting services to help our client with any technology issue they may have. This allows them to focus on what really matters, their core business.
As you see we offer all kind of IT services and whenever we can’t offer a specific expertise we’ll do our best to find a reliable partner to satisfy our clients need. For many companies, Kezber is the partner they’ve chosen to do business with for over 20 years.
Q: What makes KEZBER unique in the market?

Q: What are your plans for next six months?
A: The next few months will be incredibly busy! First there’s going to be the big move of our Head Office from Sherbrooke to Magog. As the company is growing constantly we needed more space but mainly we needed to get closer to Montreal too. The new office space in Magog is going to be nothing less than amazing! Stunning view on the Memphremagog lake and Mont Orford, located downtown Magog, near great restaurants, bike path (that also becomes a skating path in the winter), parks and many other services. A great environment for our Eastern Township team!
Appart from moving our head office, we will also focus on our new division located in Drummondville. We will take part in all kinds of exciting events to pursue our integration in the area.
