Below is our recent interview with Neel Sus, CEO at Susco Solutions:
Q: Could you provide our readers with a brief introduction to Susco Solutions?
A: Susco makes businesses more productive by creating intuitive software for innovative organizations. We utilize the latest technology to optimize workflow, close operational gaps, and improve communication both internally and externally. We are a tight-knit high-performance team of developers. Susco has been developing business software for over 12 years. We have mastered the art of successfully conducting software development projects, whether we’re migrating from a legacy system or turning a manual process into an automated one.
Q: You’ve recently announced founder and CEO Neel Sus has been named in the 2018 Silicon Bayou 100 list; could you tell us something more?
A: I’ve been in the tech space in New Orleans since it started getting traction in 2005. Like the city, I and my company have matured in ways I could not have even predicted back then. I’m proud that Susco has been behind many innovative companies in the region – in some cases launching public facing crime fighting apps, and in others automating their business process so they could scale and create more jobs.
Q: Can you give us insights into your solutions?
A: We develop custom business software. We have a niche in legacy system conversions – specifically we have 100% project go-live rate in this space which is extremely rare. We had a tried and true methodology for the project assessment, execution, and data migration that enable this to be a reality.
Q: Tell us more about your software development process. How does it work?
A: While we tailor our approach to the specific needs of each of our clients, we rely on six core phases that encapsulate the heart of our methodology. Through transparent communication with you along every step, we can work together to build the right software solution for your business. These steps are analysis, design, development, testing, training, and implementation!
Q: What are your plans for the future?
A: We’ve been expanding at 30% per year for the past 3 years. We want to continue that trend and additionally leverage our domain expertise in insurance, independent claims adjustments, and SaaS product development to win national accounts.
