Swrve is a Mobile Engagement Platform developed specifically to help enterprise marketers develop customized, personal mobile experiences for their customer base. Their platform supports over 12 billion mobile events, daily. The capabilities Swrve brings to marketers include targeting, real-time segmentation, conversations, push notifications, in-app messaging, A/B testing, predictive models, real-time data orchestration, and rich analytics across every marketing channel. The company’s customers market more strategically, get deeper insight, and deliver better customer experiences than their competitors. Below is our interview with Christopher Dean, CEO of Swrve:
Q: You’ve recently announced $25 Million in Series D funding round; could you tell us something more?
A: The recent investment is mostly a response to the incredible demand that we’ve been coping with over the past couple of years. We’ve grown a lot; monthly revenue has risen by over 220 percent between 2015 and 2017 globally, with strong growth in the Americas, Europe, and the Middle East. Our average deal size has also quadrupled.
We’re planning to use the funding to build out our sales and customer success teams, increase our platforms integrations with connected devices, and build a greater international presence for our employees. Our current offices are in San Francisco, London, Dublin, and Munich.
Q: What kind of solutions do you offer to your clients?
A: To put it simply – we help our customers succeed on mobile. Obviously, that starts with the marquee solution, our mobile engagement platform, which enables those customers to build highly effective and relevant campaigns, plus outstanding experiences on mobile.
But we also have a Customer Success team that works very closely with every one of our clients, helping define the mobile strategy, build out the right campaigns and tests, and deliver real return on their investment.
Q: Who are the primary clients of Swrve?
A: Most of our customers are enterprises. We have customers in industries ranging from travel and hospitality, to retail, to telecommunications, to banking. Mobile has really become a component of almost every business, and any company that has customers needs to keep them engaged.
Seven of every 10 digital minutes are spent on mobile. Nine of 10 mobile minutes are spent in a collection of only a few apps. Brands know that consumers live on their phones, and that’s where companies need to meet them. Consumer preferences are changing at an unprecedented rate, and every business that wants to have a relationship with its customers needs to keep pace with those expectations. That’s what our solutions enable them to do.
Q: What is your ultimate goal?
A: We want to bring the power and possibilities of mobile and other connected devices and channels to the world’s most successful brands. Our platform is built to enable our customers to understand and relate to their customers on a deep level.
We’ve always emphasized our ability to seamlessly integrate with our customers’ existing ‘systems-of-record,’ like marketing clouds, CRM and customer support infrastructures, and to become part of that ecosystem.
Ultimately, our goal is to make enterprise marketing smarter. Mobile marketing should be targeted, thoughtful, and above all, useful. Swrve’s data-based and AI enabled technology empowers companies to engage better.
