Below is our recent interview with Dennis Sary, marketing director at Passfeed:

Q: Dennis, can you tell us something more about the company and your history?

A: Passfeed was founded in 2016 by Richard Wang, a start-up entrepreneur with several well-timed exits. Influenced by the business models of Wish.com, Amazon and Aliexpress this upstart start-up provides an exciting shopping experience uniquely paired with a robust digital wallet.. Users are able to choose from over 1.5 million of the most trendy fashions, incredible household gifts and even electronics. Building on the social nature of online shopping, consumers can shop, save and earn Rewards and iPoints just sharing with friends and relatives – all within the user friendly App.

Q: Can you give us insights into your app?

A: Looking to expand the boundaries of online shopping and money exchange, Passfeed has consistently sought to capitalize on consumer frustrations while shopping on conventional websites. The dream is simple: people should be able to shop, save and share deals without having to deal with credit cards or pay banking fees. Along with a robust shopping experience, Passfeed’s ever expanding offerings include virtual debit cards, gift certificates with merchants like Best Buy, Macy’s and Starbucks, ETF’s and even exclusive incentive cards.

Q: You are combining the best aspects of a digital wallet with the e-Commerce experience; Can you tell us more?

A: Passfeed has partnered with several major banks such as Citibank and CapitalOne to offer virtual debit Visa/Mastercard for its American customers. The company is confident that these partnerships will ultimately benefit customers who can use the App to not only shop but handle banking services as well.

“We’re expanding every day, and a virtual debit card for our customers will be a huge convenience. Customers can make purchases and refill their account without stepping foot inside a bank. It’s very simple: using a Passfeed-branded virtual card will give consumers the flexibility to buy items not only from Passfeed, but send money to friends and maximize our iPoints system,” said Dennis Sary, Passfeed’s Marketing Director.

Q: What can we expect from Passfeed in the future?

A: Along with becoming a Money Service Business (MSB) and offering a digital wallet, Passfeed sees ETFs and mutual funds as a big step towards becoming an all-inclusive option for banking and investing.

Passfeed, “Your Social Shopping App,” has also entered the world of gift cards.. Agreements were made with merchants like Best Buy, Macy’s and Starbucks to offer the purchase and exchange of gift cards through the Passfeed App to further ease the shopping experience.

With gift cards, which are prepaid and can be refilled, customers can add them to their digital wallets through the Passfeed App and then shop and save at their favorite stores. Now those in need of a good gift idea or those who wait until the last minute can rejoice in knowing that Passfeed can provide gift cards for all of their shopping needs.

Q: How would you convince the reader to start using Passfeed?

A: Customers everywhere like to get in on “friends and family” discounts. Passfeed, “Your Social Shopping App,” is making sure that you and your friends can benefit with the App’s “Refer a Friend” feature.

Passfeed users can invite a friend (or friends!) to sign up for Passfeed. Your friend signs up and shops for any of the 1.5 million items available for purchase. You as the referrer then earn iPoints on every purchase your friend makes on the Passfeed App!

Being a good friend is its own reward, and now Passfeed is rewarding both of you. We’ve actually seen customers that use the App’s Rewards system as a part-time job—refer enough friends and earn enough Rewards so that you can not only save, but actually put aside money to use anytime.
