Q: Can you walk us through your course development process? How does it work?

A: Each course typically takes between two and four months to develop with faculty input, instructional design and accreditation before we host and market the program to our members. The basis of each program includes a needs assessment of the target audience to identify key gaps within knowledge and competencies that are considered important for improving patient outcomes. Expert medical writing and referencing the latest clinical guidelines along with real-world cases contributed by MDBC’s steering committee generally forms the foundation of our courses. Since we work across so many different geographies, we’re always cognizant of the local and cultural adaptations and respectful of the accreditation requirements that are unique to each jurisdiction before a program is launched and marketed to select target audiences.
